Let's look at some pictures of animals. I will show you a picture of a lion. What sound does a lion make? That's right! A lion roars. Now, let’s look at a picture of a duck. What sound does a duck make? Yes, it quacks! We can practice these sounds together.
Now, we will play a game! I will say the name of an animal, and you will make the sound it makes. For example, if I say 'sheep', you will say 'baa'. Let’s try it with different animals like 'frog', 'horse', and 'cat'. This will help us remember the sounds and have fun!
For our independent practice, I want you to draw your favorite animal and write down the sound it makes. You can use crayons or markers to make your drawing colorful. Once you finish, we will share our drawings with the class and make the sounds together!
