Today, we will learn about different animals and the sounds they make. Animals are all around us, and each one has a unique sound. For example, a dog barks, a cat meows, and a cow moos. Let's think about some of our favorite animals and what sounds they make!
Let's look at some pictures of animals. When I show you a picture of a lion, what sound does it make? Yes, it roars! Now, if I show you a picture of a sheep, what sound does it make? That's right, it bleats! We can practice these sounds together as a class.
Now, I will show you some animal flashcards. When I hold up a card, I want you to make the sound of that animal. For example, if I show you a picture of a duck, you should quack! Let’s do this together, and I will help you if you forget the sound.
For your independent activity, you will create a mini animal sound book. Use the blank pages to draw your favorite animals and write down the sounds they make. You can use crayons or colored pencils to make it colorful. Once you finish, you can share your book with a friend!
