Today, we will learn about various animals and the sounds they produce. Animals are all around us, and each one has a unique sound. For example, a dog barks, a cat meows, and a cow moos. We will look at pictures of different animals and practice making their sounds together.

Let's look at some pictures of animals. I will show you a picture of a lion. What sound does a lion make? (Pause for responses.) That's right! A lion roars. Now, let’s try another one. Here is a picture of a duck. What sound does a duck make? (Encourage students to quack.) Great job! You are all doing wonderfully!

Now, I will give you a worksheet with pictures of animals on one side and their sounds on the other. Your task is to draw a line connecting each animal to the sound it makes. For example, connect the cat to 'meow' and the dog to 'bark'. I will walk around to help you if you need it. Let’s do this together!

For our independent practice, we will play a game of charades! Each of you will take turns picking an animal from a box. Without speaking, you will act out the animal and make its sound. The rest of the class will guess which animal you are. This will help you remember the sounds and have fun at the same time!
