Today, we will learn about the letters A, B, C, D, and E. Each letter has its own sound, and we will practice saying these sounds together. For example, the letter A makes the sound /a/, like in 'apple'. Let's say it together: A - /a/. Now, let's move on to the letter B, which sounds like /b/, as in 'ball'.

Let's look at some pictures and identify the starting sounds. For the picture of an apple, we say 'apple' starts with the sound /a/. For the picture of a ball, we say 'ball' starts with the sound /b/. I will show you a few more pictures, and you can help me identify the sounds they start with.

Now, we will play a sound matching game. I will say a letter, and you will find an object in the classroom that starts with that letter. For example, if I say 'C', you might find a 'cat' or a 'cup'. Let's take turns and see how many objects we can find that match the letters A, B, C, D, and E.

It's time to practice writing! I want you to take your worksheets and write the letters A, B, C, D, and E. Remember to say the sound of each letter as you write it. After you finish writing, you can draw a picture of something that starts with each letter. For example, draw an apple for A and a ball for B.
