Today, we will learn about different animals. Animals can be found in various places like forests, oceans, and farms. Each animal has unique features and sounds. For example, a lion roars, while a cat meows. Let's look at some pictures of animals and talk about where they live and what sounds they make.
Let's take the elephant as an example. Elephants live in the savannah and jungles. They make a trumpeting sound. Now, let’s look at a picture of an elephant and discuss its size and color. What other animals can we think of that live in the same habitat? How do they sound?
I will show you pictures of animals, and you will help me match them with their correct habitats. For instance, if I show you a fish, you will tell me it lives in water. After that, we will listen to the sounds of these animals and see if you can guess which animal makes each sound. Let’s start with the first animal!
Now it’s your turn! You will create a small book about your favorite animal. Draw a picture of the animal, write its name, and describe where it lives and what sound it makes. You can use crayons and stickers to make your book colorful. Once you finish, we will share our books with the class!
