Today, we will learn about different animals in isiNdebele. Animals are an important part of our lives and our environment. We will focus on common animals such as 'inja' (dog), 'ikati' (cat), 'ingulube' (pig), 'ibhubesi' (lion), and 'ihhashi' (horse). I will show you pictures of these animals and we will practice saying their names together.

Let's look at a picture of a dog. In isiNdebele, we say 'inja'. Can anyone tell me what sound a dog makes? Yes, it barks! Now, let's repeat together: 'inja'! Great job! Now, let's do the same for the cat. This is 'ikati', and it says 'meow'. Repeat after me: 'ikati'.

I will show you flashcards with pictures of animals. When I show you a card, I want you to shout out the name of the animal in isiNdebele. For example, if I show you a picture of a pig, you will say 'ingulube'. Let's practice together! I will show you the first card, and you will respond with the correct name. Remember to make the animal sound too!
