Today, we will learn about different animals in isiNdebele. We will focus on names like 'inja' for dog, 'ikati' for cat, and 'ibhubesi' for lion. I will show you pictures of these animals and say their names in isiNdebele. You will repeat after me to practice pronunciation.

Let’s look at this picture of a dog. In isiNdebele, we say 'inja'. Can anyone tell me what sound a dog makes? Yes, it barks! Now, let’s look at a cat. We say 'ikati' in isiNdebele. What sound does a cat make? Correct, it meows! We will continue with more animals and their sounds.

Now, I will show you a series of animal pictures. When I show you a picture, I want you to shout out the name in isiNdebele. For example, if I show you a picture of a lion, you will say 'ibhubesi'. After that, we will make the sound of that animal together. Let’s practice with three animals: 'inja', 'ikati', and 'ibhubesi'.
