Now, we will play a matching game. I will show you pictures of animals, and you will tell me their names in isiXhosa. For example, if I show you a picture of a lion, you will say 'ibhubesi'. Let’s do this together! I will hold up a picture, and you will respond with the correct isiXhosa name. This will help you remember the names better.

For your independent activity, I want you to draw your favorite animal. Once you finish your drawing, write its name in isiXhosa underneath. You can use the words we learned today.
