Today, we will learn about different animals and the sounds they make in isiZulu. We will look at pictures of animals and say their names together. For example, a dog is called 'inja' in isiZulu, and it makes a sound 'bark' or 'bhu bhu'. We will also learn how to express these sounds in isiZulu.

Let’s look at some examples. The cow is called 'inkomo' and it says 'moo' or 'muu'. The cat is 'ikati' and it says 'meow' or 'miyaw'. As we go through these examples, I will show you pictures of each animal, and we will repeat their names and sounds together.

Now, let’s work together! I will show you a picture of an animal, and I want you to raise your hand and tell me its name in isiZulu. After that, we will all make the sound that the animal makes. For instance, if I show you a picture of a lion, you will say 'ingwe' and then we will all roar together! This will help us remember the names and sounds.

For your independent practice, I want you to draw your favorite animal and write its name in isiZulu next to it. After you finish, you can share your drawing with a partner and tell them what sound your animal makes. This will help you practice both your writing and speaking skills in isiZulu.
