Let's practice saying the names of the animals together. When I say 'inja', you say 'dog'. Now, let's make the sound of a dog: 'woof woof'. Next, we have 'ikati', which means 'cat'. Can you make the sound of a cat? That's right, 'meow'. We will continue this with all the animals we learned today.

Now, we will play a matching game. I will show you pictures of animals, and you will tell me their names in isiZulu. For example, if I show you a picture of a lion, you will say 'ibhubesi'. After that, we will match the animal to its sound. I will say the sound, and you will point to the correct animal. This will help us remember their names and sounds.

For our independent activity, I want you to draw your favorite animal. Once you finish your drawing, label it with its name in isiZulu. For example, if you draw a cat, write 'ikati' next to it. You can also write down what sound it makes. This will help you remember the animal names and sounds we learned today.
