Feelings are emotions that we experience every day. They can be happy, sad, angry, scared, or excited. It's important to recognize our feelings and understand that everyone has them. Today, we will learn how to identify our feelings and talk about them with our friends and family.
Let's look at some pictures of children showing different emotions. For example, when a child is smiling, they might be feeling happy. When a child has tears in their eyes, they might be feeling sad. We can use words like 'happy', 'sad', 'angry', and 'scared' to describe how we feel. Can you think of a time when you felt one of these emotions?
Now, we will play a game called 'Feelings Charades'. I will show you a card with a feeling on it, and you will act it out without using words. The rest of the class will guess what feeling you are showing. This will help us learn to express our feelings through actions and understand how others feel.
Each of you will create your own 'Feelings Journal'. On the first page, draw a picture of a time you felt happy and write the word 'happy' next to it. On the next page, draw a picture of a time you felt sad and write 'sad'. You can continue this for other feelings. This journal will help you remember and express your feelings.
