Emotions are feelings that we experience every day. They can be happy, sad, angry, or scared. It's important to recognize our emotions and understand that everyone feels differently. Today, we will learn about some common emotions and how they can affect our behavior and interactions with others.
Let's look at some pictures of children showing different emotions. For example, in one picture, a child is smiling and jumping; this shows happiness. In another picture, a child has tears in their eyes; this indicates sadness. By observing facial expressions and body language, we can learn to identify how others are feeling.
In this activity, we will play a game of charades. Each child will take turns acting out an emotion without using words, while the rest of the class guesses what emotion they are portraying. This will help us practice recognizing emotions in ourselves and others. Remember to use your face and body to show how you feel!
Now it's your turn to express your emotions through art! Take a piece of paper and draw a picture of yourself showing an emotion you have felt recently. Write a few words about why you felt that way. Once you are done, we will share our drawings with the class and talk about our feelings.
