Emotions are feelings that everyone experiences. They can be happy, sad, angry, or scared. Today, we will learn about different emotions and how they can affect our behavior. Understanding our emotions helps us communicate better with others and build strong friendships.
Let's look at some pictures of children showing different emotions. For example, when a child smiles and jumps, they might be feeling happy. When another child frowns and has tears, they might be feeling sad. By observing facial expressions and body language, we can learn to identify how others are feeling.
In groups, we will play a game of charades where each child will take turns acting out an emotion without using words. The rest of the class will guess the emotion being portrayed. This activity will help us practice recognizing emotions in others and discussing how we can respond to them.
Now it's time to express our own emotions! Each learner will draw a picture of themselves showing a specific emotion. They will then share their drawing with a partner and explain why they chose that emotion. This will encourage self-expression and help us understand our feelings better.
