Emotions are feelings that we experience every day. They can be happy, sad, angry, or scared. It's important to understand our emotions because they help us communicate how we feel to others. Today, we will learn about some common emotions and how to express them.
Let's look at some pictures of faces showing different emotions. For example, a smiling face shows happiness, while a frowning face shows sadness. When we see someone smiling, we can say they are happy. Can you think of a time when you felt happy? Let's share our stories!
In groups, we will play a game of charades. One student will act out an emotion without using words, while the others guess what emotion it is. This will help us learn to recognize emotions in others. Remember to think about how the person might be feeling based on their actions!
Now it's time to express our own feelings through art! Each student will receive a piece of paper and crayons. Draw a picture that shows how you feel today. You can use colors and shapes to express your emotions. Afterward, we will share our drawings with the class and talk about our feelings.
