Let’s look at the animal 'ntja'. When we say 'ntja', we can also mimic the sound a dog makes, which is 'woof'. Now, let’s do the same for 'kat'. The sound a cat makes is 'meow'. We will practice saying the names and sounds together, ensuring everyone can pronounce them correctly.

I will show you pictures of different animals, and I want you to tell me their names in Sepedi. For example, if I show you a picture of a lion, you will say 'kgoši'. After that, I will ask you to make the sound of that animal. This will help us remember their names better. Let’s do this together with a few animals before you try on your own.
