Today, we will learn some important words in Sepedi that relate to our families and animals. Words like 'ntate' (father), 'mme' (mother), 'ngwana' (child), 'ntja' (dog), and 'katse' (cat) are essential for us to talk about our loved ones and pets. We will practice saying these words together and learn how to use them in sentences.

Let’s look at how to use our new words in sentences. For example, if we want to say 'My father is a teacher' in Sepedi, we say 'Ntate wa ka ke moruti.' Notice how we use 'wa ka' to mean 'my.' We can also say 'Ngwana o a bapala' which means 'The child is playing.' Let’s practice these sentences together.

Now, I will give you some words, and I want you to help me make sentences. If I say 'mme' (mother), how can we say 'My mother is cooking'? Think about how we can use 'wa ka' to show possession. Let’s work together to create sentences using the words we learned. I will write them on the board as you suggest them.
