Today, we will learn about different animals and the sounds they make. Animals are an important part of our world, and knowing their names in Sesotho helps us communicate better. Now, let’s work in groups. Each group will receive a set of animal cards. You will take turns picking a card, saying the animal's name in Sesotho, and making the sound it makes. For example, if you pick a card with a 'poli', you will say 'poli' and then moo. This will help us learn from each other and have fun!

For your independent practice, I want you to draw your favorite animal and write its name in Sesotho underneath. Then, write down the sound that the animal makes. For example, if you draw a 'katse', you will write 'katse' and 'meow'. Once you finish, we will share our drawings with the class.
