For example, a 'ntšhu' is a cat, and it says 'meow'. We will also learn about animals that live in the wild, like 'nku' (sheep) and 'kgetsi' (lion).

Let's look at this picture of a 'nku' (sheep). Can anyone tell me what color it is? Yes, it is white! Now, let's say it together: 'nku'. Great! Now, let’s look at another animal, the 'kgetsi' (lion). What sound does it make? Yes, it roars! Let's practice saying 'kgetsi' together.

I will make the sound of an animal, and you will guess which animal it is in Setswana. For example, if I say 'meow', you will respond with 'ntšhu'. Let’s try another one: 'roar'. What is that? Yes, 'kgetsi'! This game will help us remember the names of the animals and their sounds.

Now, I want each of you to draw your favorite animal. Once you finish, write its name in Setswana below the drawing. For example, if you draw a dog, you will write 'ntša'. After you are done, we will share our drawings with the class and say the names of our animals together.
