Today, we will learn about different animals in siSwati. Animals are important in our lives and culture. We will look at pictures of animals and learn their names in siSwati. For example, 'inja' means dog, and 'kukhamba' means cat. We will also listen to the sounds these animals make and learn how to describe their actions.

Let’s look at some pictures of animals. I will show you a picture of a cow. Who can tell me what this is in siSwati? Yes, it is 'inkunzi'. Now, let’s listen to the sound a cow makes. It says 'moo'. Can anyone tell me how we can describe a cow? Yes, it is big and it gives us milk. Let’s practice saying 'inkunzi' together.

For example, if I show you a picture of a lion, you will say 'ingwe' and roar like a lion. Let’s do this together for a few animals. Remember to use your voices and actions!
