Now, let's create sentences using the words we built. For example, we can say 'The cat sat.' Let's write this sentence on the board. I will ask you to help me add punctuation at the end. Remember, every sentence needs a full stop. Can anyone tell me another sentence using the word 'pat'?

For your independent practice, I want you to take your phonics worksheets. You will find pictures and words. Match the pictures to the correct words and then write a sentence for each word. Make sure to use correct spacing and punctuation. After you finish, we will share our sentences with the class.
