Let’s look at a simple story: 'UThandi uyathanda ukudlala emanzini. Uthandi uthanda izinkanyezi.' This story tells us about Thandi who loves to play in the water and loves stars. Notice how each sentence ends with a full stop. This helps us know when one thought ends and another begins.
Now, let’s work together to create our own sentences. I will say a sentence, and you will help me add punctuation. For example, if I say, 'UThandi uthanda ukudlala,' you can tell me how to finish it. Remember to think about what Thandi loves to do and how we can express that clearly with punctuation.
