Notice how each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. This is important in writing! Now, let’s think about what Thandi might do next in her story.
Now, let’s work together to create our own sentences. I will say a word, and you will help me build a sentence. For example, if I say 'ikati' (cat), you might say, 'Ikati liyadlala.' (The cat is playing.) Remember to use a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end. Let’s create a few more sentences together!
