Today, we will learn new words that describe things around us. We will read a short story about animals and identify the names of the animals and the actions they do. This will help us understand how to use these words in sentences.

Let's look at the sentence: 'The cat runs fast.' We can identify the subject (cat), the verb (runs), and the adverb (fast). Now, if we change it to 'The dog jumps high,' we see how different words can create new meanings. We will practice this with more examples.

I will give you a list of words: 'bird', 'fly', 'high'. Together, we will create sentences using these words. For example, 'The bird flies high.' After we create a few sentences together, you will work in pairs to come up with your own sentences using the words I provide.

Now it's your turn! I want you to write three sentences about your favorite animal. Remember to use correct punctuation at the end of each sentence. After writing, draw a picture of your animal and label it with the sentences you wrote.
