Creative writing allows us to express our thoughts and feelings in unique ways. Today, we will learn how to write short stories and sentences in Sepedi. We will focus on using correct punctuation, such as full stops and question marks, and ensuring our sentences are clear and well-spaced.

Let’s look at a simple story: 'Ngwana o ne a le mošimane. O ratang go bapala le metswedi.' This means 'The child was a boy. He loves to play with friends.' Notice how we start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. This is important in writing.

Now, let’s create sentences together. I will say a word, and you will help me make a sentence. For example, if I say 'ntlo' (house), you might say, 'Ke na le ntlo e ntle.' (I have a nice house.) Remember to use a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end.

Now it’s your turn! Write a short story about your favorite animal. Use at least three sentences. Make sure to start each sentence with a capital letter and end with a full stop. After you finish, we will share our stories with the class.
