Today, we will learn new words that describe things around us. Vocabulary is important because it helps us express our thoughts clearly. We will look at pictures and discuss what we see, using new words to describe them. For example, if we see a picture of a cat, we can use words like 'soft', 'furry', and 'playful' to describe it.
Let’s create sentences using our new vocabulary. If we have the words 'cat', 'runs', and 'fast', we can form the sentence: 'The cat runs fast.' Notice how we start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. Let’s practice this together by forming sentences with other words we learned today.
In small groups, I will give each group a set of pictures and vocabulary words. Your task is to discuss the pictures and come up with sentences using the words. Remember to use correct punctuation. After 10 minutes, each group will share one sentence with the class. This will help us practice speaking and listening skills.
Now, it’s your turn to write! Choose three vocabulary words from today’s lesson and write a sentence for each. Make sure to use capital letters at the beginning and full stops at the end. After you finish writing, draw a picture that represents one of your sentences. This will help you connect words with images.
