We will start by discussing what makes a good story and how we can use our imagination to create interesting characters and events.

Let’s create a short story together. I will start with a sentence: 'There was a little bird who loved to sing.' Now, let’s add more sentences. What do you think the bird saw? Maybe it saw a beautiful flower or a big tree. We can write: 'The bird saw a big tree and decided to rest on its branch.' Together, we will build this story step by step, ensuring we use correct punctuation at the end of each sentence.

Now, let’s work in small groups. Each group will create their own short story. Start with a sentence and then take turns adding more sentences. Remember to listen to each other and use punctuation correctly. After 10 minutes, we will share our stories with the class. This will help us practice speaking and listening skills.

It’s time for you to write your own short story! Think about your favorite animal or a fun day you had. Write at least three sentences about it. Make sure to use capital letters at the beginning of each sentence and a full stop at the end. Once you finish, draw a picture that goes with your story. This will help you express your ideas creatively.
