Let's read a short story together: 'U Tlhakanya na Mavhunga'. In this story, Tlhakanya is a little girl who loves to play in the garden. One day, she finds a beautiful flower and decides to take care of it. As we read, pay attention to the characters and what happens in the story. After reading, we will discuss the main ideas and what we liked about the story.
Now, let's work together to create our own short story. I will start with a sentence: 'U Tlhakanya u na na maphorisa a maphorisa.' (Tlhakanya has a magical friend.) What do you think happens next? Let's add sentences together, and I will write them on the board. Remember to use punctuation at the end of each sentence. After we finish, we will read our story aloud as a class.
