What do you think Sparky did next? Remember to use full stops at the end of each sentence. For example, 'Sparky loved to fly high in the sky.' Together, we can build a fun story by adding more sentences!

Now, let’s work in small groups. Each group will create their own short story. Start with a sentence about a character. For example, 'There was a brave knight named Leo.' Then, take turns adding sentences to the story. Make sure to listen to each other and use punctuation correctly. After 10 minutes, we will share our stories with the class!

It’s time for you to write your own short story! Think of a character and a setting. Write at least three sentences about what happens in your story. Remember to use correct punctuation and spacing. Once you finish, draw a picture that represents your story. You will have 20 minutes to complete this task, and then we will share our stories with a partner.
