What happens next? You might say, 'The dragon loved to play with the animals.' Great! Now we have a beginning and a middle. Let’s finish the story by adding an ending: 'One day, the dragon found a treasure and shared it with his friends.' We have created a complete story with a clear structure!

Now, let’s work in small groups to create our own stories. Each group will choose a theme, like 'adventure' or 'friendship.' Start by brainstorming ideas together. Once you have your ideas, write down the beginning, middle, and end of your story on a piece of paper. Remember to use punctuation marks like periods and question marks. After you finish, each group will share their story with the class. This will help us practice speaking and listening skills!

For your independent practice, I want you to write your own short story. You can choose any theme you like! Make sure to include a beginning, middle, and end.
