Today, we will learn new words that we can use in our sentences. Vocabulary is important because it helps us express our thoughts clearly. We will read a short story together and identify new words. After reading, we will discuss what these words mean and how we can use them in our own sentences.

Let’s look at the sentence: 'The dog runs fast.' We can identify the subject (the dog) and the action (runs). Now, let’s change the sentence to: 'The cat jumps high.' Notice how we have a new subject and action. We will practice this by changing subjects and actions in sentences together.

In groups, you will create your own sentences using the vocabulary words we learned. Each group will choose a word and write a sentence on the board. Remember to use correct punctuation at the end of your sentences. After writing, each group will read their sentence aloud to the class.

Now, it’s your turn to write! Using the vocabulary words from today’s lesson, write three sentences in your exercise books. Make sure to use correct spacing and punctuation. After you finish, draw a picture that represents one of your sentences. Be ready to share your work with a partner.
