Let’s look at the word 'mama'. We can break it down into sounds: 'm' - 'a' - 'm' - 'a'. Now, let’s build another word: 'baba'. The sounds are 'b' - 'a' - 'b' - 'a'. Notice how both words end with the same sound 'a'. This helps us see patterns in words, making it easier to read and write.

I will say a word, and you will tell me the first sound you hear. For example, if I say 'sisi', you will respond with 's'. Let’s try a few more: 'tata', 'lulu', and 'kaka'. After identifying the sounds, we will write them on the board together. This will help us practice our spelling and phonics skills.

Now it’s your turn to build sentences! Using the words we practiced, create a sentence. For example, you can write 'Mama is here.' Remember to start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. Once you finish, share your sentence with a partner and check if they can read it correctly. This will help you practice your writing and reading skills.
