Let’s look at a simple story: 'UThandi uyathanda izinja. Uthanda ukuhamba nazo emaphandleni. Ngelinye ilanga, uThandi wahamba noBheki, umngani wakhe, wathola inja encane.' This story has a clear beginning, middle, and end. Notice how we used punctuation marks like full stops and commas to separate ideas.

Now, let’s work together to create a story. I will start with a sentence: 'USipho uthanda ukudlala ibhola.' What do you think happens next? Let’s add more sentences together. Remember to use descriptive words and correct punctuation. After we finish, we will read our story aloud as a class.
