Let’s look at some examples together. 1. 'Uthanda ukudlala.' (He loves to play.) - This sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. 2. 'Uphi umngane wakho?' (Where is your friend?) - This is a question, so it ends with a question mark. Notice how each sentence conveys a clear idea and uses punctuation to help the reader understand.

Now, let’s practice writing sentences as a class. I will say a word, and you will help me create a sentence. For example, if I say 'ibhola' (ball), you might say, 'Ibhola liyabhalwa.' (The ball is being kicked.) Let’s try another word: 'izinkanyezi' (stars). What sentence can we create? Remember to start with a capital letter and end with the correct punctuation.
