Social responsibility means being aware of how our actions affect others and the environment. It involves making choices that are good for ourselves, our friends, and our community. For example, helping a friend in need or recycling materials are ways we can show social responsibility. Today, we will discuss how we can be responsible citizens in our daily lives.

Let's look at some scenarios. Imagine you see a classmate drop their lunch. What should you do? You could help them pick it up and share your snack if they are upset. Another example is if you see litter on the playground; you can pick it up and throw it in the trash. These actions show social responsibility by helping others and keeping our environment clean.

In small groups, discuss the following questions: 1) What does it mean to be responsible? 2) Can you think of a time when you helped someone? 3) How can we make our school a better place? After discussing, each group will share one idea with the class. This will help us learn from each other and understand different perspectives on social responsibility.

Now, I want you to think about one small goal you can set for yourself to show social responsibility. It could be something like helping a family member at home, being kind to a classmate, or picking up litter in your neighborhood. Write down your goal on a piece of paper and draw a picture that represents it. We will share these goals with the class at the end of the lesson.
