Creative writing allows us to express our thoughts and feelings in unique ways. Today, we will learn how to write short stories and sentences that are fun and interesting. We will also discuss how to use punctuation marks like periods, commas, and question marks to make our writing clearer.

Let’s look at a simple story: 'Once upon a time, there was a little cat named Moka. Moka loved to chase butterflies. One sunny day, she saw a big, colorful butterfly. Moka jumped and ran after it!' Notice how the sentences are short and clear, and we used a period at the end of each sentence.

Now, let’s work together to create sentences. I will start: 'The dog is happy.' What can we add to this sentence? Let’s think of adjectives and actions. For example, 'The big dog is happy because he plays with his ball.' Remember to use punctuation at the end of your sentences!

It’s your turn to write! Think of your favorite animal and write a short story about it. Use at least three sentences and remember to use punctuation. After you finish, share your story with a partner and listen to their story too!
