Let’s look at a simple story: 'Mokhantšhi o ne a le monyane. O ne a rata ho bapala le metsoalle ea hae. Ka letsatsi le leng, ba ile ba etela serapa.' This story uses simple sentences and has a clear beginning. Notice how each sentence ends with a full stop. We can also add more details to make it more exciting!

Now, let’s create sentences as a class. I will start with a sentence: 'Nna ke rata ho ja.' (I love to eat.) What can we add to this sentence? Let’s think of a food we enjoy. How about 'Nna ke rata ho ja bohobe.' (I love to eat bread.) Remember to use a full stop at the end. Let’s write a few more sentences together about our favorite foods.
