Creative writing allows us to express our thoughts and feelings in unique ways. Today, we will explore how to write short stories or descriptions about things we love. We will focus on using proper punctuation, such as full stops and question marks, to make our writing clear and enjoyable to read.
Let’s look at an example: 'Ke rata ho bapala le metsoalle ka ntle. Re etsa lipapali le ho thabela letsatsi.' This sentence uses correct punctuation and spacing. Notice how the full stop at the end shows that the thought is complete. We will practice writing similar sentences about our favorite activities.
In groups, let’s create sentences together. Each student will contribute one sentence about their favorite animal. Remember to use punctuation correctly. For example, if someone says, 'Ke rata ntja,' another can add, 'E na le moriri o motle.' After we build our sentences, we will read them aloud and discuss what we like about each one.
Now it’s your turn! Write a short text about your favorite food. Use at least three sentences and remember to include punctuation. After you finish writing, draw a picture of your favorite food to go along with your text. Once everyone is done, we will share our writings with the class.
