Let's read a short story together: 'Mpho o ne a rata ho etela libaka tse ncha. Ka letsatsi le leng, o ile a etela serapa sa liphoofolo. O ile a bona liphoofolo tse ngata, 'me o ile a thabela ho bona.' Now, let's identify the sentences. Notice how each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. This is how we keep our writing neat and understandable.
Now, let's work together to create our own sentences. I will start: 'Ntsu e kholo e ntse e le...' (A big cow is...). What can you add to complete this sentence? Remember to think about what you want to say and how to use punctuation. After we create a few sentences together, we will share them with the class.
