This includes knowing where to place punctuation marks like full stops, commas, and question marks. Today, we will learn how to identify mistakes in sentences and how to fix them.
Let’s look at the sentence: 'Ke rata go ja apple'. This sentence has a mistake because 'apple' should be plural. The correct sentence is 'Ke rata go ja dipholo'. Notice how we changed 'apple' to 'dipholo' to make it correct. We also need to remember to start our sentences with a capital letter and end with a full stop.
I will read a sentence aloud, and you will listen carefully. After I finish, I want you to tell me if there is anything wrong with the sentence. For example, I might say, 'O a ja lebese'. Is there a mistake? Yes, it should be 'O a ja lebese le borai'. Let’s practice with a few more sentences together.
