Let’s look at a simple example: 'Ngiyathanda ukudla. Ngiyathanda isinkwa.' This means 'I love to eat. I love bread.' Notice how each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. This is important for making our writing clear. Now, let’s think of a short text about something we love.
Now, let’s write a short text together. I will ask you to think of something you love. It could be a food, a game, or a pet. Once you have your idea, we will create sentences as a class. For example, if someone says they love cats, we can write: 'Ngiyathanda ikati. Ikati liyamangalisa.' (I love the cat. The cat is amazing.) Remember to use capital letters and full stops!
