The correct version is: 'The cat sat on the mat.' Notice how we capitalized 'The' and added a full stop at the end. We will practice correcting similar sentences together.
Now, I will give you some words, and together we will create sentences. For example, if I say 'dog', 'run', and 'fast', we can create the sentence: 'The dog runs fast.' After we create a few sentences, we will check for correct punctuation and spacing. Remember to start with a capital letter and end with a full stop.
