Let’s try another one: 'Babe ufunani?' This sentence is correct, but we can add a full stop after the question mark to show it’s the end of the thought. It becomes: 'Babe ufunani?'.
In groups, you will receive a list of sentences that have mistakes. Your task is to read each sentence aloud and discuss what is wrong. For example, if you see 'Umfana uyahamba,', you should notice that it needs a full stop at the end. Work together to correct each sentence and then share your corrections with the class.
