Today, we will explore how to write creatively by using our imagination and ensuring our sentences are clear and well-structured. We will also learn about the importance of punctuation, as it helps our readers understand our writing better.

Let’s look at a simple example: 'The sun was shining brightly in the sky. The birds were singing sweetly in the trees.' Notice how each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. This is important for making our writing clear. Now, let’s think about what we can write about our own experiences or imaginations.

In groups, let’s create sentences together. I will give you a starting sentence: 'The little cat...'. Each group will take turns adding a word or phrase to complete the sentence. Remember to think creatively! After we finish, we will read our sentences aloud and check if we used proper punctuation and spacing.

Now it’s your turn to write! Think of a fun story you want to tell. It can be about anything you like. Write at least five sentences, making sure to use capital letters at the beginning of each sentence and full stops at the end. After you finish writing, draw a picture that goes along with your story. We will share our stories with the class at the end of the lesson.
