Creative writing allows us to express our thoughts and feelings in unique ways. Today, we will learn how to write short stories and sentences that are fun and interesting. We will also discuss the importance of using correct punctuation and spacing to make our writing clear and enjoyable for others to read.

Let’s look at a simple story: 'Once upon a time, there was a little bird named Tiri. Tiri loved to sing. One day, she flew to the big tree and sang a beautiful song. All the animals came to listen.' Notice how each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark. This makes it easy to read and understand.

Now, let's work together to create sentences. I will start: 'The sun is shining.' What can we add to this sentence? (Encourage students to suggest ideas.) Great! We can say, 'The sun is shining brightly in the sky.' Remember to use a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end. Let’s write it on the board together.

Now it’s your turn! Write a short story about your favorite animal. Use at least three sentences. Remember to start each sentence with a capital letter and end with the correct punctuation. After you finish, draw a picture of your animal and share your story with a partner.
