Let's look at the following sentence: 'mama is cooking dinner' - this sentence is missing a capital letter and a full stop. The correct sentence should be 'Mama is cooking dinner.' Notice how we capitalized 'Mama' and added a full stop at the end. Now, let's try another example together: 'the dog is barking' - how can we correct this?

In groups, you will receive a set of words. Your task is to create a complete sentence using those words. Remember to use correct punctuation and spacing. For example, if you have the words 'cat', 'chasing', 'mouse', you could write 'The cat is chasing the mouse.' After you create your sentences, we will share them with the class.

Now, you will each receive a short paragraph with several mistakes in punctuation and spacing. Your job is to read the paragraph carefully, find the mistakes, and correct them. Once you have finished, write the corrected paragraph on a clean sheet of paper. This will help you practice your editing skills and improve your writing.
