Let’s look at a simple story: 'U Tlhomelang u etla. U bona maphanga a matlhagatlhaga. U thoma go dula mo maphangeng.' This story uses short sentences and clear ideas. Notice how each sentence ends with a full stop. We can also ask questions like, 'U etla kae?' to engage the reader.

Now, let’s work together to create a short story. I will start with a sentence: 'U na le ngwana wa moshaka.' What do you think happens next? Let’s add a sentence together. Remember to think about punctuation. After we create a few sentences, we will read them out loud and make sure they make sense.

It's your turn to write! Think of a fun character or a place you like. Write a short story of 3-4 sentences about them. Make sure to use full stops and question marks where needed. Once you finish, draw a picture that represents your story. We will share our stories with the class later.
