Today, we will learn how to write sentences correctly and use punctuation to make our writing clear and interesting.

Let's look at some examples of sentences. For instance, 'Nwa-nkulu u ya esikolweni.' (The big child goes to school.) This sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. Another example is 'U funa ku hlola!' (He/She wants to play!). This sentence ends with an exclamation mark to show excitement. Notice how punctuation changes the meaning and tone of the sentence.

Now, let's create sentences together. I will say a word, and you will help me form a sentence. For example, if I say 'mavhili' (flowers), you might say, 'Mavhili a khanyisa.' (The flowers are beautiful.) Remember to start with a capital letter and end with the correct punctuation. Let's try a few more words together and write them on the board.

Now it's your turn! I want each of you to write three sentences about your favorite animal. Make sure to start each sentence with a capital letter and end with the correct punctuation.
