Let's read a short story together. The story is about a little girl named Nandi who loves to play outside. As we read, pay attention to how I use my voice. For example, when Nandi is happy, I will read with a cheerful tone, and when she is sad, I will read softly. After reading, we will discuss how Nandi felt at different parts of the story.

Now, I will divide you into small groups. Each group will receive a different short text. You will take turns reading your text aloud to each other. Remember to use expression in your voices! After your group finishes reading, discuss the main ideas of your story and how the characters felt. I will walk around to listen and help you with any difficult words.
