Creative writing allows us to express our thoughts and feelings in unique ways. Today, we will explore how to write short stories using our imagination. We will learn about the importance of using correct punctuation and spacing to make our writing clear and enjoyable to read.

Let’s look at a simple story: 'A little bird flew over the rainbow. It saw many colors and felt happy. The bird sang a sweet song.' Notice how each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark. This helps the reader understand when one thought ends and another begins.

Now, let’s write a short story together. I will start with a sentence: 'Once upon a time, there was a brave little lion.' What do you think should happen next? Let’s take turns adding sentences to our story. Remember to use capital letters at the beginning of your sentences and punctuation at the end.

Now it’s your turn to write your own short story! Think of a character and a setting. Write at least three sentences about what happens to your character. Don’t forget to use capital letters and punctuation. After you finish, share your story with a partner and listen to theirs.
