Let’s look at a simple example: 'UThandiwe uthanda ukudlala ibhola. Uthanda ukudlala nezingane zakhe.' This sentence uses correct punctuation and spacing. Notice how the full stop at the end tells us the sentence is complete. Now, let’s think about how we can add more details to make it more interesting.

Now, let’s write a short story together. I will start with a sentence: 'Kwakukhona umntwana ogama lakhe linguSipho.' What do you think should happen next? Let’s add a sentence together. Remember to use punctuation correctly. After we write a few sentences, we will read them aloud and discuss what we like about our story.
